Ways to use these stories with Students

  • Share the stories with students during their Sunday School classes, missions group meetings or home Bible study meetings.
  • Download the photos, videos and bulletin inserts to help you share the story.
  • Use the EXTRA activity to get your students involved in a local missions project included with the Meeting Christ at Christmas story.
  • Explore ways that students can personally get involved with international missions on the Get Your Student Involved page of this year's Lottie Moon Christmas Offering Student Leader's Guide.
  • Set a Lottie Moon giving goal based on a missionary dollar need featured in one of the stories. For small dollar items, consider increasing your giving based on multiple units of an item used by a missionary (for example, 30 cots x $2 per day/cot = $60). Display your giving goal with a bulletin insert of the story, plus its photos. Track giving toward your goal each week and include that as part of your display.
