How do I plan a missions conference?

A missions conference is an effective way to break through the noise of this world and focus a church body on the critical task of spreading the Gospel. A mission conference has three purposes:
• to educate a congregation on the lostness of our world;
• to teach them how to personalize missions;
• to offer opportunities to get involved.

Seven steps to plan a missions conference

1. Select a date
2. Enlist a missions-conference coordinator
3. Choose a theme
4. Secure church support
5. Develop a budget
6. Set a missions offering goal
7. Enlist a planning committee/team
