Through ministries like medical outreach, meeting physical needs, evangelism and discipleship training, the missionaries you support are helping plant churches in the darkest corners of the globe.
What happens because you give?
In 2013 Southern Baptists celebrated 125 years of annual giving to support international missionaries. More than 3.5 billion has been given to the Lottie Moon Christmas Offering, whose namesake inspired the first collection of gifts in 1888 so the world might know Christ. Then, as now, every penny you give to Lottie Moon supports missionaries as they share the Gospel overseas.

Missionaries’ No. 1 need is for prayer support – focused, continuous prayers not only for themselves but for the people to whom they bring the love of Christ.
To help churches know how to pray strategically, why to give sacrificially and how to come alongside missionaries to reach the lost, WMU and IMB profile eight representative families or individuals and their people groups during annual Week of Prayer for International missions.
What is your role?
Whether you are leading an entire congregation or a group of children, your role is critical. We want to help you teach, inform and inspire.
