Speaking of missions
Illustration: When prayer is a witness
In one predominantly Muslim city in Russia, three students were in a van, waiting to play basketball. They were worried about whether or not the gym would be open, when one of the students suggested to the other two that they should pray about it. The driver, a Chechen believer, was very surprised. He turned to the students and asked if they were believers. They quickly told him they weren't, but they had noticed that whenever there was a problem, Christians prayed, so they felt that they should pray, too.

Missions by the Book: Believers respond to persecution
“The apostles left the Sanhedrin, rejoicing because they had been counted worthy of suffering disgrace for the Name. Day after day, in the temple courts and house to house, they never stopped teaching and proclaiming the good news that Jesus is the Christ” (Acts 5:41 -42, NIV).
