A Chinese professional in his late 20s had tried Buddhism, Confucianism, Daoism and Qigong, but nothing seemed to give his life meaning. Two years ago, he was visiting in a tea house when he saw a man smiling. He asked the man what made him happy, and the man told him about Jesus. He trusted in the Savior and was immediately welcomed into a house church. The new believer was amazed to be fully included in the small group worship. He was also involved as they set aggressive goals to reach many thousands for Christ. He now is a part of a church-planting movement under way in a large China city.
Pray that increasing numbers of Chinese believers will commit to making Christ known by telling others how He has changed their lives. Find more prayer requests for East Asia.
