to Lottie Moon opens way for 200 more missionaries
An “extremely promising” outlook
for the 2003 Lottie Moon Christmas Offering® convinced trustees
of the International Mission Board to send an additional 200
workers overseas this year. They also:
• elected
a new vice president for overseas operations,
• voted to consolidate eight of the board’s regions of work into four,
• appointed 76 new long-term
missionaries for overseas service.

wife, family, friends remember his life
Six
weeks after the attack that killed David McDonnall and three
other International Mission Board aid workers in Iraq, Carrie
McDonnall stood with the aid of a walker before colleagues,
family and friends at a memorial service for her husband.
