ISC/Journeyman Invitation
Dear Colleague,
Greetings from RVA! According to our records you are currently scheduled
to complete your term of service in 2008. We are appreciative of
the valuable contribution that you are making. We hope your remaining
months will be ones of maximum significance, minimal stress and
healthy closure.
In order to assist you with your re-entry into the USA, we would
like to invite you to a debriefing conference at home office expense.
Children under college age who served with you on the field are
also invited at home office expense. Or if you are returning to
the field soon, your family may choose to attend a Stateside Assignment
Training Conference instead. This will provide you with additional
training as well as field debriefing. Those conference dates and
registration can be found on the 3e2a site under the Stateside Assignment
tab.
You may choose any conference date, but it is always best to attend
one as close as possible to your return. Please note that these
conferences are not exclusively targeted for “your orientation
group.” It is likely there will be participants in all conferences
from several of the orientation groups.
The conference tends to be a wonderfully “safe” environment
for you to gather with people who will genuinely understand you
and be thrilled to hear of your pilgrimage. Although the fields
of service are often vastly different and varied, participants tend
to be amazed at the similarities in their experiences.
It is a wonderful time of debriefing activities, re-entry and mobilization
sessions, fellowship, exploration of the future and inspiration.
