Additional income

Southern Baptists have been generous in remembering the International Mission Board both during their lives and in their wills. Investment income provides the equivalent support for about 500 missionaries.

Other International Mission Board income includes gifts through state Baptist foundations and undesignated gifts.

Overseas: 85 percent

Capital: 5 percent

Operating: 16 percent


Stateside expenditures
Include promotion and mobilization of stateside churches and facilitating the involvement of Southern Baptists and administrative support of stateside staff.
The Cooperative Program

State conventions
use an average of
64 percent of all Cooperative Program funds received.
Of the remaining 36 percent, the International Mission Board receives half. The rest goes to other SBC agencies and institutions.
