Staff Benefits Highlights

IMB offers a comprehensive package of benefits for your health, family, time off, income protection, and retirement. All benefits listed below are 100% employer paid, except for medical insurance and FSA. You share a small portion of the cost with IMB for medical insurance with pre-tax dollars. FSA participation is voluntary.

Medical Insurance

First day of month following employment Covers hospital, physician, medical services and prescription drugs

Choose from two plan options: HMO and POS

Medical Evacuation

Immediate Up to $50,000 for emergency medical transportation while overseas on board business

Nurse Line

First day of month following employment 24/7 telephone access to a registered nurse in urgent and emergency situations

Life Insurance

First day of month following employment Coverage of four times your earnings, up to $200,000 coverage

Dependent Life Insurance

First day of month following employment $5,000 coverage for spouse and each child under age 21

Group Accident Insurance

First day of month following employment $200,000 coverage for exempt staff only

Travel Accident Insurance

First day of month following employment $50,000 coverage for non-exempt staff traveling on board business

Holidays

Immediate Nine paid holidays

Paid Time Off (PTO)

Immediate Based on IMB service

Short-Term Disability

First day of month following employment After 14 consecutive days of personal illness

60 percent of base salary

90 days maximum

Long-Term Disability

First day of month following employment After 90 days of personal illness

60 percent of base salary
First two years based on occupation at time of disability; after two years, disability reviewed to determine eligibility for job rehabilitation if unable to return to your occupation.

To age 65 maximum if unable to be rehabilitated for another occupation

Annuity

First day of month following employment IMB contributes 10 percent of base salary to a retirement account
Vested after three years

Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA)

First day of month following employment Pre-tax contribution to medical insurance premium, medical care and dependent care expenses

Chaplaincy

Immediate Up to four counseling sessions on family problems, personal conflict or relational problems on the job
