of curches of all sizes seeking to fulfil the Great Commission
in obedience to Acts 1:8 ... to the ends of the earth. |

Personalizing missions by adopting IMB personnel.
Church
members need to know missionaries. Missionaries need churches that
love them and pray for them. Every one of our 5,200-plus missionaries
should be adopted by at least one church. This gives
people the opportunity to have personal knowledge of and a relationship
with missionaries. Many churches already have established a relationship
with IMB personnel, or have connections with them in some way. We
encourage those churches to adopt those missionaries. Your church
may adopt more than one missionary, but we encourage you to make
the adoption a very significant experience for the entire congregation.
When churches need help, we will assist them in linking with missionaries.
