CHILE
Thank you for praying for the recent retreat held in Chile. A missionary
writes: "This month was an exciting time for the missionaries
in Chile, because we all had a chance to meet together for a week-long
retreat in Rancagua, Chile. This was an incredible time for all the
new missionaries to meet colleagues serving throughout the country,
as well as a time of spiritual renewal and relaxation. However, the
most wonderful part of the retreat was the time of rejoicing we had
as we celebrated the new brothers and sisters in Christ we now have!
Eight of the 26 hotel employees accepted Christ, as well as a woman
visiting from the States, gathering data for her doctoral thesis.
She came to get data for a paper and left with eternal life. She wrote
an e-mail to our leaders after returning to the U.S., stating that
Chile was the land of salvation! Praise Him!"
