8.
Partnering in missions efforts by adopting an unreached people
group.
One
of the great changes in the world of missions in recent years has
been the focus on efforts to reach the thousands of unreached people
groups who have little or no access to the gospel. The IMB has hundreds
of missionaries working with these hidden peoples. We
believe that each unreached people group needs one or more strong
churches in the United States praying for them and, when God opens
the doors, are ready to go work with those who are on the front
lines. Your adopted people group should be Gods assignment
for your congregation. We do not just send a list of unreached people
groups and ask you to choose one. We will connect you with someone
who will walk you through the adoption process and help you discover
your strategic place in reaching all peoples.
