The Tomb of Saadi

Iranians sit by a pool near the tomb of Saadi (or Sa’di), an Iranian poet of the 13th century, in Shiraz, Iran. The tomb is surrounded by gardens. This tomb, along with other poets’ tombs, serves as a popular pilgrimage site in Iran. Poetry is a big part of Iranian culture.
