Just a twenty minute walk separates the row of fancy, western hotels in Cha Am, Thailand, from a small fishing village. While short in distance, those twenty minutes represent a vast divide between the two worlds of Thailand. On this hot, summer day, a woman cleans fish pulled from the Gulf of Thailand by fishermen from the village. Who knows where these fish will end up… maybe in one of the upscale tourist restaurants in another world separated by just twenty minutes.
