In the mountains on the island of Flores in eastern Indonesia, the Sikka people celebrate the life of Loke Sogebuli, who was at least 100 years old and was the oldest woman in the village when she died. For the Sikka people around the village of Maumere, when a person lives more than seventy years, the funeral and music is an expression of thankfulness to God.
