Cairo Metro

A Cairo Metro train pulls up to the station in the Coptic Quarter. The megacity’s subway system sprawls across the city, delivering an estimated 4 million passengers per day over three different lines and nearly 50 miles of train track, both above ground and below. They are currently working on a fourth line that will connect New Cairo in the east with the Haram District on the other side of the Nile.
