Since 2011, millions of Syrian refugees have fled their homeland, and approximately 4 million have settled in one particular country. These refugees have suffered trauma fleeing Syria and now face numerous difficulties in establishing a new life. They need language classes and job-skills development that fits their new country as well as a safe space to gather in community and talk through the trauma they experienced.Your gift will empower a community center to meet these needs, providing funds for general operating costs and also offering programs and classes for the refugees. Through these programs, long-term missionaries and partners will build relationships that lead to gospel sharing and church planting. The programs include language clubs, community health classes, trauma counseling, kids’ sports clubs, and micro-business development.
