Project Overview
Unreached people and places are unreached for a reason! Reaching them with the gospel takes wisdom, creativity, and prayerfulness. God has placed on the hearts of IMB leadership an effort called “globalization,” which is a strategy to mobilize and send qualified men and women to the unreached peoples of the world, regardless of their nationality.
In some places, Americans are severely limited in their ability to access these peoples, but due to geopolitical and cultural realities, citizens of other countries have open access. In other contexts, multicultural teams and partnerships will join existing IMB teams to engage these hard-to-reach peoples. Your gift will fund that effort through vision-casting, training new missionaries, and undergirding ongoing partnerships.
Additionally, God has begun to raise up Central Asian believers who feel called and ready to serve in other countries. Globalization is the process of not just receiving missionaries, but also sending. As a part of discipleship and planting healthy churches, local believers will be trained in how to send missionaries from Central Asia to unreached peoples around the world.
