Partner with us to see a church in every town among every people group across our desert in South Asia.
Our team works in a rural area of South Asia with a population of roughly 32 million people that spread across an area with difficult terrain and underdeveloped roads. We are seeking reach several people groups whose population breakdown is 93% Muslim, 6% Hindu and less than 1% Christian. We are praying God would move in the hearts of many and that we would be able to plant healthy churches full of new believers. Your prayers and gifts will help us evangelize, disciple and plant churches and train local leadership to pastor the churches and take over the work of evangelism and church planting.
Healthy local churches are vital to seeing this rural South Asian desert reached with the gospel. For this reason, we work hard to equip faithful local leaders, share the gospel broadly and disciple the local believers across our large, underdeveloped desert area. Join us in this work through praying and giving to expand the kingdom of God across the desert!
Gifts toward specific efforts show us what you are excited about. Occasionally, we may redeploy gifts as we follow God's leading with urgent opportunities or changing international contexts. Any gifts received beyond the goal go toward a similar project or our team support.
Training Believers
The area where we live is less than 1% Christian. The few Christians that live here lack a basic understanding of the Bible, and many have never been discipled. As a team, we want to help these believers grow in Christ and become coworkers to reach their community. Your gift will help us offer multi-day trainings, teaching them to study Scripture, obey God’s Word, and evangelize the community.
Audio Bibles and SD Cards
Literacy is very low in the desert, so God’s Word is inaccessible to most of our people group in its typical printed format. In addition, exploring the Bible is dangerous for people in this area, often resulting in persecution if discovered. Your gift will help us provide access to Scripture by filling SD cards with the audio Bible and evangelistic resources and distributing them to those who want to know more about Jesus.
Training Local Partners
A key to reaching our area is developing local leaders and ministry partners. Our vision centers around “local ownership,” which means equipping and empowering national believers in the core missionary tasks of evangelism, discipleship, church planting, leadership development, and entrusting the work to trained partners. Your gift will help us train local believers to become evangelists and missionaries in these ministries.
Expanding the Gospel’s Reach
The area we work in is roughly the size of Iowa, but the roads are undeveloped, which makes getting around very difficult. Driving from one side of our region to the other can take more than 15 hours. Your gift will help defray these travel costs and enable us to engage new communities across our region with the gospel and meet with other Christians for mentorship and discipleship.
Can you imagine a region roughly the size of Iowa where less than 1% of the population claims to be a Christian?
This small corner of the world is where you are sharing the gospel with the lost through your gifts and prayers for our team. Like the church at Philippi encouraged Paul, your generosity makes you a partner in the gospel with our team (Philippians 4:14-18).
Praise God that He is bringing forth gospel fruit from the seeds planted among some minority religious groups.
Several new churches have begun worshipping weekly. These new churches are learning together what it means to follow Jesus and grow in Christ.
These believers have begun sharing the gospel not only among their own people group but also with the majority people living around them.
Many people have accepted Jesus!
As these churches grow spiritually, they are fully embracing the missionary task. Some have started mission offerings to fund travel to take the gospel to other villages.
