Creating digital media tools in the local language will get the gospel in front of as many eyes as possible. These tools include evangelistic websites, smartphone apps, social media, videos, and other digital media platforms. But the impact doesn’t stop there. Once a person interacts with the digital message and expresses interest in learning more, we will connect the person with a church planter or local pastor in their region who will meet with the seeker in person with the hope of leading him to Jesus. Your gift and prayer support will go towards the creation, maintenance, distribution, expansion, and advertising of these digital media tools.
We have already begun this work and have seen a significant increase in the number of lost people requesting New Testaments and more information about the true Jesus. Many requests come from practicing Muslims. Your gift and support will send the message of Jesus into homes and hearts throughout Central Asia. Thank you for partnering with us in this work!
Human obstacles abound. So far, 2023 has been a challenging year. New restrictions from the largest social media companies and search engines have limited the reach of our gospel advertisements and forced us to spend more money for fewer specific contacts. While these seem like obstacles to our earthly eyes, we know God sees everything, and social media restrictions do not limit Him.
Our team was encouraged by a report from one of the partners on our follow-up team. “We are rejoicing that we get to baptize another Gospel Media contact this Sunday, along with a friend she brought us. We originally met the pair a few years ago, but they made confessions of faith around Christmas and are getting baptized on Sunday. That will be four members of our small church impacted by Gospel Media follow-up. Praise God!”
This testimony is a beautiful picture of the end goal of all our team does. While we are happy to see people interact with us online, the ultimate goal is to connect each person who responds with the local church and to see them come to saving faith in Jesus. Gospel Media is a strategy for growing God’s Church in our area.
Through digital engagement, we find people whom the Holy Spirit is calling to Himself and follow up by offering a copy of God’s Word and contact with a local believer and church. We are excited whenever we hear a report like the one above because it is a testimony to God’s work among our people group.

Testimonies
One of our recent contacts lives far from our follow-up team, and it took several months for us to get in touch with her. We were delighted to learn that since receiving her New Testament, she not only read it but started attending a church and became a believer. What a blessing to see God’s Word change lives!
The two men in the photo above had never met until the day this picture was taken. The man in the orange shirt, Azlan*, does regular evangelism follow-up, and he reached out to Zain*, the young man beside him after Zain received a New Testament. The two men spoke on the phone several times, and Zain was connected to a local church.
Join us in thanking and praising the Lord because Zain accepted Christ and is now a faithful member of that church. He thanked Azlan repeatedly allowing the Lord to use him to lead Zain into the kingdom.
These are just two examples of the many ways God is using the Gospel Media Project to bring people from darkness into the light. Thank you for your continued prayers and generosity!

In this ever-changing world that presents challenges from politics to worldwide crises such as the pandemic, we have continued to engage least-reached peoples with the truth about Jesus. One new church plant was forced to stop meeting in person because of the pandemic, but because of their faithful follow up on new contacts, they have seen one new believer and several seekers who are now meeting regularly to study God’s Word. We’re praying they will follow Christ in faith very soon.

With its blue-domed cities, frenetic bazaars, and remote yurts, Central Asia captures the romance of the Silk Road. Ancient traditions, loyal relationships, and generous hospitality make up the foundation of Central Asian values. Once home to the early church, Islam is now the predominant religion of Central Asia. Architecture, dress, and cultural expectations are all marked by it's influence.
Political, religious, and cultural divisions have fractured Central Asia's governments and global relations. This instability has left people seeking an anchor for hope and peace. Jesus is their peace, but most of Central Asia's 365 million people have no knowledge of the gospel.Pray that as Central Asians will meet the life-giver and Prince of Peace so they can experience the abundant joy that Jesus offers.
