Just as the Gutenberg printing press revolutionized the world by converting hand-written Scripture into print for the masses, Gutenberg II (GII) is revolutionizing the way the world’s Muslim population learns about and responds to God’s message of reconciliation, redemption, and relationship through Jesus. The overwhelming majority of Muslims have never heard the gospel in a way they can understand, embrace and respond to. Your gift will propel the gospel into the Muslim world with renewed power.
GII God’s Stories Series consists of nine uniquely selected Old and New Testament character stories. Each story is designed to address bridges and barriers to the gospel in a Muslim worldview, brought to the audience in a natural dramatized story flow. They all crescendo into the telling of the story of Jesus as told by Luke. The Savior film, now dubbed into many languages, has been broadcast on popular secular and Christian satellite stations across the Muslim world, reaching into places that have never seen or heard the message of Jesus as acted, directed and shared by professional Arab actors in Arabic and many other languages.
These films are distributed via satellite, television, Video on Demand, DVD, cell phones, Apps and through personal contact with Christians. The local Middle Eastern sense and feel of The Savior is causing it to be a choice ministry tool for many working among Muslims. These films have already been viewed by people in the multiple 10’s of millions across the Muslim world. GII stories are changing the conversation among leaders of nations and faith, of cities and towns, and of families and individuals. Your gift will make it possible to bring these stories to new places, in new languages and with new creative tools.
North Africa and the Middle East is consistently thrust into the international news as it develops into one of the world’s most enigmatic-but-influential global regions. Vast economic development typifies its urban centers, offering creative business opportunities for entrepreneurs.
Religious life permeates every society here, whether its residents are Muslim, Christian, or Jewish. Though Christianity began in this cradle of civilization, it is sometimes difficult to know if the church exists. Cities that birthed the gospel now house ornate mosques, temples, and skyscrapers. Thankfully, the church is experiencing a captivating resurgence among this region's 520 unengaged and unreached people groups.
Millions of refugees live here, displaced by war, famine, oppression, or poverty. Many are open to the gospel, seeking an anchor amid the upheaval of their lives. Pray for Christian workers as they share the hope of the gospel during this unprecedented spiritual openness.
