Business Serving Mission

Support long-term personnel in the discovery and development of healthy business models that open access for the gospel.
In Northern Africa and the Middle East, effective missional strategies require the sustained presence and tailored access that, in many instances, can be provided through business. However, the workers God calls to the missional task do not always have the experience and training to identify and sustain a healthy business model that complements their ministry. Consequently, without the proper guidance and support, many businesses that long-term personnel create quickly become a burden rather than a benefit to their ministry.

Providing long-term workers with the tools they need for sustained and effective ministry is crucial. Given the increased sophistication of societies globally, healthy businesses are rapidly emerging as an essential tool for carrying out gospel work in hard-to-access places. You can partner with long-term workers, using your business experience, talents, and financial partnership to train long-term workers to have the business acumen necessary to support healthy, viable businesses in the global marketplace. Your gifts and skills in business, law, and finance are valuable to God’s work in these hard-to-reach places. We invite you to assist our personnel in identifying and maintaining businesses that truly facilitate their long-term ministry to the unreached peoples of Northern Africa and the Middle East.

Your financial gift will underwrite the cost of training personnel, developing business start-ups and, in some cases, providing capital for existing businesses to expand. In addition, as a short-term volunteer, you can train long-term personnel in business practices, sharing your knowledge and talents to sustain gospel presence among people groups who have never heard that Jesus loves them. Let God use your experience and expertise to increase His kingdom! Partner today with Business Serving Mission!

Location

North African and Middle Eastern Peoples

North Africa and the Middle East is consistently thrust into the international news as it develops into one of the world’s most enigmatic-but-influential global regions. Vast economic development typifies its urban centers, offering creative business opportunities for entrepreneurs.

Religious life permeates every society here, whether its residents are Muslim, Christian, or Jewish. Though Christianity began in this cradle of civilization, it is sometimes difficult to know if the church exists. Cities that birthed the gospel now house ornate mosques, temples, and skyscrapers. Thankfully, the church is experiencing a captivating resurgence among this region's 520 unengaged and unreached people groups.

Millions of refugees live here, displaced by war, famine, oppression, or poverty. Many are open to the gospel, seeking an anchor amid the upheaval of their lives. Pray for Christian workers as they share the hope of the gospel during this unprecedented spiritual openness.
