How will they believe in Him of whom they have never heard? How can they understand the message in a language that they do not know? Your gift will translate the Word of God into the heart language of this unreached tribe of farmers and shepherds in North Africa so they can hear, understand, and believe in the gospel. The translation will be recorded and distributed in an audio format. This translation of the Word of God will also enable new believers to be discipled, share with others, and form a church.
The entire New Testament and key narrative sections of the Old Testament will be translated, approximately 13,000 verses. Each month, 220 verses will be completed, requiring sixty months (five years) for completion. The cost will be approximately $250 per month. Each translated book of the Bible will be checked for clarity, accuracy, and naturalness, and any adjustments will be made. Each book then will be recorded and distributed among this unreached people group.
This North African tribe and nearby tribes have a distinct dialect that makes it difficult for them to understand other Bible translations. Though they are primarily rural farmers and shepherds, the younger generation is seeking truth. They use the internet extensively, so recordings of the Word will be primarily distributed through a website. Seekers from this people group currently make 20,000 visits and more than 1,400 downloads of Christian materials from this site per month. Your gift will bring countless souls from this people group into Christ's kingdom.
