Organic Farms for Health and Life

Establish a research and training center to help local farmers learn natural and organic farming practices.

Improve the lives of local farmers, families, and communities one harvest at a time. Most small shareholder farmers can’t plan for the future simply because they do not know how to preserve their land’s fertility. They live one harvest at a time. This opportunity offers these farmers training in basic soil and crop management practices to protect the health of their land and families for generations to come.

Your gift will establish training and research centers that focus on natural and organic farming practices for farmers in tropical and subtropical areas. Local farmers will learn to preserve and regenerate the health of their soils and to use local resources to produce farm inputs such as natural fertilizers, pest controls, and animal feed. These sustainable agriculture practices will help their farms thrive for generations. Your gift will establish a research and training center in a local community, so farmers can learn these practices through hands-on training. Doors will open for the gospel to reach families and the community through the relationships built at each training.

The centers will focus on locally grown fruits and vegetables, including mangoes, dragon fruit, lemons, avocados, peppers, rice, and leafy greens. The center will also educate farmers in animal husbandry practices.

East Asian Peoples

From the skyscrapers of Hong Kong to the vast plains of Mongolia, East Asia is rich with 5,000 years of history and a bold vision for the future. This region, comprised of China, Japan, Mongolia, North and South Korea, and Taiwan, represents one-fourth of the world’s population and houses four of the world’s most populous cities.

Though East Asia has contributed some of the world’s most revolutionary ideas and valuable technology, the name of Christ remains unknown to hundreds of millions among its 213 unreached and unengaged people groups. Buddhism, ancestor worship, animism, Daoism, Hinduism, and Islam blind the people to Christ's truth. Only a tiny percentage among these East Asian people groups are Christian.

Pray that great breakthroughs will occur so that many of these yet-unreached people will call on the name of the Lord and be saved.
