Preschool Breaks Down Walls

Provide quality preschool education, opening doors for gospel sharing in a spiritually oppressive country.
This school, located in a closed country in the Asian Pacific Rim, shares the gospel in an area where only 0.6 percent of the people have been reached for Christ. It provides quality education for children over age three, but the primary focus is to disciple the local believers for evangelism and church planting. Because of the reputation and quality of the school, government officials close their eyes and ears to the fact that the gospel story is regularly presented to the children.

Your partnership provided for the expansion of the school into a larger building as the attendance has grown from 30 to 250 students with a waiting list for each new school term. The previous facility is small, unsafe, and not secure for the children or after-school discipleship and evangelism classes for the teaching staff under the government’s watchful eye. The new location houses the larger school facility and provides a place where local believers can be discipled and trained to be church planters without arousing government suspicion. In addition, the school now includes an elementary school. We add a new grade each year, making it possible for the staff to develop deeper relationships with the students and parents. In addition, we have been adding teachers and staff for each new grade, and by 2026, we expect to have 400 students and over 50 national staff. Local culture dictates that schools offer on-site housing for the out-of-town staff, which adds another opportunity for evangelism and discipleship.

The school is a platform that allows personnel to stay in the country. Your gift will ensure that the gospel continues to go into the homes of unreached peoples and opens doors for personnel to remain in the country. The gospel is desperately needed here; this school is changing lives one family at a time.

Location

Asian Pacific Rim Peoples

From the skyscrapers of Hong Kong and vast plains of Mongolia to smoky rainforests hiding winding rivers edged by golden sands, the natural beauty and long history of these Asia-Pacific Rim countries testify to God’s creative hand. This vast region houses four of the most populous global cities, as well as the country with the world's largest nominal population of Muslims.

Spirituality swirls through cities and countryside like the smoke from temple incense sticks. Buddhists, Muslims, Hindus, animists, Daoists and ancestor worshipers live here, comprising 851 unreached people groups who have never heard that freedom is found in Christ. Pray for divine appointments for Christian workers to share that Jesus is the way to peace with God and eternal life. Ask God to glorify His name among the peoples of the Asian Pacific Rim Peoples affinity.
