About This Project
A remote corner of Central Asia is home to more than 45 Muslim people groups, the vast majority of whom do not know Christ or any Christians who could tell them the gospel. While accessing these people groups is difficult, God has opened a way to communicate directly into the hearts of these people.
The most remote corners of this region can now be reached with paid content on social media platforms such as Instagram and Facebook that even isolated peoples are using. By pushing information such as Scripture, gospel videos, and testimonies from their people group, the gospel can grab the attention of a Central Asians as he casually scrolls through social media. When he comments on the information, believers are ready to answer his questions, point him to Scripture, and offer to meet in person.
Your gift will develop and push this content onto social media platforms and host websites with additional gospel resources. Your generosity will give very isolated Central Asians the opportunity to know that Jesus is the Savior for all. Will you partner with our team to send the gospel into the homes of these least-reached people groups?
Thank you so much for your generosity to this ministry and the Central Asian people God calls us to reach with the gospel. Your prayers and sacrificial giving develop and push evangelistic content onto social media platforms and host websites with additional gospel resources, providing very isolated people the opportunity to know that Jesus is Savior.
God calls us to adapt! God is working in the hearts of Central Asian peoples. Currently, we cannot be physically present in this people group, but our hearts are with them. Therefore, we have shifted towards a digital engagement strategy, born out of the reality that people spend around seven hours daily on the internet worldwide. In addition, the number of global social media users is nearly 5 billion. Whether we like it or not, people look to the internet for answers, with 70,000 Google searches every second. We want to be digitally present in a place where 5 billion people spend their time looking for solutions only the gospel can give.
We are in the final stages of completing a new website. Social media promotions will direct people to the website that offers audio and print Scripture as well as videos, all in their own heart language. We know God desires to draw these Central Asian people to Himself, and we pray that God will use digital engagement to pave the way for churches.
Please join us in prayer:
Thank you for your generosity and prayers. Your sacrificial gifts and intercession are truly transforming lives as we partner together to solve the world’s greatest problem, lostness.
Your support of our work to bring the gospel to the Caucasus Mountain region is crucial. We see the answered prayers, and we rejoice that you are part of our team. Thank you so much!

Recent Updates
Recently, we were able to bring on a team of national web designers and social media experts who are now leading the project. This move sets up the work to be sustainable long beyond the time we are here to lead the engagement. Since the national partners have taken the lead, the frequency of gospel content going out has increased and the quality of that content has also improved significantly. The number of engagements has continued, sparking many online gospel conversations with seekers from one of the most challenging places in the world!
Your gifts have enabled this shift to national-run ministry. Your financial support helped us to get the work to a strong place, train national brothers and sisters to engage their countrymen through social media and now, hand over the reins of leadership. Praise the Lord! This step is the last of six steps in the “Missionary Task”: Entry > Evangelism > Discipleship > Healthy Church Development > Leadership Training > Exit to Partnership. We are grateful for your partnership that has propelled us to this point. Would you prayerfully consider making another gift to support the expanded work? Together, we can reach so many more who long to know our Savior!

The village of Kurush, Dagestan, is the highest continuously inhabited point in Europe, and the southern-most point in all of Russia. There couldn’t be a more remote location on the whole continent. Maria* is from Kurush, and when, in the early days COVID-19 quarantines, she responded positively to the story of the Good Samaritan on our Instagram page, we were thrilled.
After a lengthy, warm exchange with our local online responder, Maria* asked for a copy of the Scriptures. She was hungry to know more about the “lesser-known” prophets. A few days later, while in the Dagestani capital of Makhachkala, a local partner delivered a copy of the Scripture to her. Maria* continued her conversation with our online responder, but eventually asked if there was someone she could chat with over video. She had two small children and sought the accountability of a meeting to read and discuss the Word in order to not be continually distracted by her kids. We connected her to an MBB in another town, and they began reading the Word together via Zoom. Eventually, this turned into a series of actual meetings, and introductions to her family.
Maria* has cooled to these conversations but asked for an additional copy of the Scriptures so that her sisters can also read. What God intends to do with this unfolding story, we don’t know.
We would, however, like to invite you into the process. Would you pray for Maria* and her sisters? For her whole family? For the remote village of Kurush?
This is the essence of what we are about when sowing gospel seeds through social media—engaging those far removed from any actual Christians and who have no understanding of the Good News of Christ. It takes His message everywhere that has a phone signal. But phone signals don’t open hearts. Only God does. And mysteriously He delights to open them in response to our prayers. Join us in asking Him to reap a great harvest among the peoples of Dagestan for His own name’s sake.
We thank you for your generosity and prayer support, which both make this work possible. Blessings!
In the next five years, a globalization goal of all IMB workers is to mobilize 500 local believers to become global missionary partners serving on IMB teams.
