Thank you so much for your generous support of our team and your West African brothers and sisters in Christ who are learning to share the gospel effectively. Because of your gifts, we are able to train national and international believers to minister to unreached peoples throughout the region.
Construction on the building addition to the Training Center for National Laborers is underway! The construction project should be completed by the end of Summer 2023. Then we will add tables, chairs, audio and visual equipment, and other items.
In the meantime, we are conducting leadership and pastoral development conferences across West Africa. Baptists from the predominantly Muslim parts of West Africa are answering the call to raise up laborers to be sent out, and we are walking alongside them, equipping them to labor in the harvest fields. Additionally, we have asked global partners from other parts of the world to join the work of reaching the extreme lostness of West Africa. As these partners answer the call, the training center will equip them with language skills and cultural training so they can effectively share the gospel and plant churches across West Africa.

Work on the Global Training Center in West Africa continues and construction on the second level is underway. We hope the work will be complete sometime this summer.
Not Waiting on Construction
Meanwhile, opportunities multiply to train believers. Baptist partners are preparing to send out three laborers to remote parts of the country to share the gospel in unreached locations. Together, we are creating a training and commissioning program for these national missionaries.
One of the key challenges for our partners is funding these missionaries. So, in addition to providing training in church planting, we will be working with them to create a funding model that allows these national missionaries to have a livelihood to support their families while they engage in church planting work.

Most Sub-Saharan Africans live hand-to-mouth, surviving on what they can harvest and herd, but regardless of status or wealth, most Africans share a common bond in community, family, and tribe.
Home to 2,500 ethnic groups, the region once characterized by sweeping poverty is redefining itself with bustling economies and technological enterprise. Eleven of the twenty-five fastest-growing global cities are in Sub-Saharan Africa. Whether urban-or-village dwellers, though, many Africans still try to manipulate spiritual powers through charms, sacrifices, and divination. The hope of the gospel is desperately needed.
African believers are catching a vision for sharing their faith. Sub-Saharan Africa is poised to become a tremendous missionary-sending force. Ask God to fan the flames of evangelism and cover Africa with his glory.
