Flagellante in the Street

A flagellante approaches and kneels at a station of the cross in Angeles City, Philippines. Each Good Friday in the province of Pampanga, flagellantes beat themselves as a means of identifying with the sufferings of Christ and gaining forgiveness for their sins of the past year.
