These images were taken in front of or in the Forbidden City, which is in the middle of Beijing. The area consists of 980 buildings over close to 8 million sq. ft. The City was the Chinese imperial palace from the Ming Dynasty to the Qing Dynasty and was the home of emperors and political ceremonies.
