Harvest

Tea harvest in eastern Bangladesh is a constant process. The tea garden workers remove the newest three leaves of growth, which are the freshest and most flavorful. The tea garden representatives live on estate-owned housing, which are mud homes with no electricity or running water. Virtually everything the laborers have is owned by the tea estate, which pays them between 52 and 64 cents a day.
