Hindu Ceremony

Along the banks of the Ganges River, many Indian Hindus participate in a goddess worship ceremony. Many of these Hindus worship this goddess out of fear and believe that she and their holy Ganges River will protect them from harm. Their worship rituals include chanting, the burning of incense, meditating and going into a demonic trance, and offering flowers and grains to the goddess, the river, and the fire.
