After teaching a class on the Qu’ran, this Muslim scholar tells the history of the Bo-Kaap area of Cape Town, South Africa. Before apartheid, this brightly painted area was all Muslim. Then, everyone was separated according to race. Just this year, everyone has been allowed to move back to their original areas of town. The Muslim population is gradually growing in number in this section of town again.
