Night in Kashgar

Old town, Kashgar is illuminated as a tourist attraction overlooking a now-modern city increasing in ethnic Chinese population. The local majority, Muslim Uighurs, have continued to have tension with the Han, in Kashgar, China, historically known as the “pearl of the Silk Road” trading route on the Kyrgyzstan and China border.
