Ramadan 3

Three men read and recite prayers over a grave. According to Islamic tradition, it is recommended that a living plant or herbs be placed on top of or next to the grave to improve the deceased’s state on the morning of Eid al-Fitr. Eid is a three-day holiday that marks the end of Ramadan in the Muslim faith. It is a time to celebrate with family and friends the completion of a month of blessings and joy. The first morning, families visit the graveside of relatives and then go to pray. IMB Photo
