The Lampung Sungkai live on the western Indonesian island of Sumatra. Almost a quarter of the Indonesian population lives on Sumatra and nearly ninety percent are Muslim. The majority of the Lampung Sungkai people are Sunni Muslim and with a population of ninety thousand people, they still have no translation of the Bible in their heart language.
