Sent out by a baptist church in Puerto La Cruz, local missionaries have been serving among the Warao since 1998.
Many came to know Christ after experiencing miraculous healings from infirmities like snake bites, burns, and even paralysis. Children stand at the end of the dock to say goodbye to the missionaries as they leave the village.
