Shakespeare’s Birthday

To celebrate Shakespeare’s Birthday, the Globe Theatre in downtown London scraps its admission charge once a year and opens its doors to the public. There are various games, plays, displays and public participants skits put on, giving the public a chance to perform on the stage. The Globe Theatre is an exact replica of the very theatre Shakespeare’s famous plays were performed in during the late 1500’s into the 1600’s.
