DESCRIPTION
Embark on a life-changing adventure in Oaxaca, Mexico, where you'll have the opportunity to make a profound impact on the lives of indigenous people groups. As a member of the Oaxaca Mobilization Team, you'll be immersed in a rural village in southern Mexico, working alongside a local group of believers to evangelize and disciple the next generation. This challenging yet rewarding assignment requires a unique individual who is willing to serve in a hard place. To be successful, you should have a strong foundation in Spanish, with at least an intermediate level of proficiency. You'll be living in a rural village for 8-day intervals, followed by periods of rest and recovery in the city of Oaxaca. Please note that living conditions in the village will be rustic, with limited access to wifi and hot water for showers. However, the rewards of serving in this context far outweigh the challenges. You'll have the opportunity to build meaningful relationships with the local community, share the Gospel with those who have never heard it, and play a vital role in reaching the next generation for Christ. The indigenous churches in southern Mexico are scattered throughout the mountains, but they urgently need help in reaching the younger generation. Could God be calling you to spend the summer of 2026 in Oaxaca, living in a hard place to make a lasting impact on the nations with the Gospel? If you're ready to take on this challenge and be part of something extraordinary, join us in Oaxaca and experience the transformative power of serving in a cross-cultural context.
