Join us in Fall 2027 for a season of ministry in Busan, South Korea. We are seeking men and women with a heart to serve and share the hope of the gospel. Busan is one of the least evangelized regions in South Korea. Fewer than 2% of Gen Z identify as Christian, and the city’s growing international community provides a unique opportunity to reach both young adults and foreign migrants with the love of Christ. We invite you to prayerfully consider joining us in Busan for Fall 2027 as we serve together and make Christ known.
Residency – An opportunity to serve on mission for one or two semesters while being mentored by an IMB field missionary. Active members of Southern Baptist churches receive a subsidy, which includes travel to/from Orientation/Debrief at ILC, room and board at Orientation/Debrief, travel to/from the field and emergency insurance. There is no subsidy for applicants who are not members of a Southern Baptist Church. All monies raised or donated in excess of the stated cost of this particular Residency trip will be used to offset the additional, subsidized field cost expenditure for the student. These monies may also be used to supplement the broader cost of ministry related to the Residency program, in general. Application deadlines: Fall Residency trips: deadline to apply is May 1. Spring Residency trips: deadline to apply is October 1.
