DESCRIPTION

Within the capital city resides many students who have come in for university. You will spend your Residency weeks ministering on the university campus: finding where students hangout, seeking new relationships, and sharing the Gospel with those you meet. It is our prayer to start a student Bible study within the city and train these new believers to GO into their current mission field of their own university. You will also assist with our new Digital Engagement ministry within the capital.

Other Requirements

  • Residency - An opportunity to serve on mission for one or two semesters while being mentored by an IMB field missionary. Active members of Southern Baptist churches receive a subsidy, which includes travel to/from Orientation/Debrief at ILC, room and board at Orientation/Debrief, travel to/from the field and emergency insurance. There is no subsidy for applicants who are not members of a Southern Baptist Church. All monies raised or donated in excess of the stated cost of this particular Residency trip will be used to offset the additional, subsidized field cost expenditure for the student. These monies may also be used to supplement the broader cost of ministry related to the Residency program, in general.
