DESCRIPTION

Come join the first team to live in this un-reached South Asian city! You will be trailblazing new territory as you help map out the urban complexities of people segments as you engage them with the Gospel. Your year spent mapping, evangelizing, and discipling believers in this city will pour over into the surrounding villages and towns that have little to no known Gospel presence. You will be laboring shoulder-to-shoulder with an expat team as well as national brothers. This experience will have an eternal impact on the people you are ministering to as well as yourself.

Other Requirements

  • Residency - An opportunity to serve on mission for one or two semesters while being mentored by an IMB field missionary. Active members of Southern Baptist churches receive a subsidy, which includes travel to/from Orientation/Debrief at ILC, room and board at Orientation/Debrief, travel to/from the field, immunizations, emergency insurance. There is no subsidy for applicants who are not members of a Southern Baptist Church. All monies raised or donated in excess of the stated cost of this particular Residency trip will be used to offset the additional, subsidized field cost expenditure for the student. These monies may also be used to supplement the broader cost of ministry related to the Residency program, in general.
