DESCRIPTION
Healthcare workers including physicians, nurses, nurse practitioners, and PAs are needed to help care for the physical and spiritual needs of patients in a West African mission hospital. Volunteers may come as individuals or as teams. Recommended minimum time of commitment is 2 weeks for physicians or 6 weeks for nurses volunteering for the first time. Volunteers are more than welcome to stay much longer if able. Travel to the mission hospital from the States typically takes 1 day of flying followed by 1 day of driving (airport pickup and transport to the hospital are coordinated with hospital van and driver). Lodging and meals are provided at the guesthouse on the hospital compound. Volunteering at this hospital is a great way to care for the poor and take the gospel to unreached peoples, to the glory of God.
