DESCRIPTION
Open to volunteers ages 18-39. Come to Manchester for 1-2 weeks to share the precious message of Christ with those who might have never heard a clear presentation of the Gospel before! Free housing is provided at the nearby home of a qualified host family. Almost all meals are provided for free as well! The aim of the outreach is to build genuine friendships with Chinese and other international students and sensitively offer them the chance to hear about the Christian faith. The team runs a Café in the evenings where they invite students to engage in fun activities and attend an optional Bible study if they are interested. Various outreach activities will take place in the Cafe that might include performing short dramas and organizing games, quizzes, and other activities for the guests. In the afternoons, you will make friends with international students in a natural manner at parks,etc but you will also help pass out flyers to invite students to outreach events. Mornings are for team training on a whole range of cross-cultural issues, how to naturally share one's faith, and Bible study. The main requirement is a team spirit and a willingness to serve!
