How far are you willing to go? What are you willing to do to help those who have never heard the gospel hear? We are looking for 3-4 adventurous men who will volunteer as guides in partnership with a local muslim-owned business in a very unreached area in the APAC region. You will learn new skill in the tourism sector and bless local through word and deed, seeking to invest deeply into a few young men. We need young men who are flexible, ok with isolation from other western people, willing to sleep on the floor, eat whatever is offered, who want to learn new skills and grow as a disciple of Christ.
Your first stop will be a joint orientation with other Nehemiah Teams at the Nehemiah Teams Training Center in Mentone, Alabama. Learning the skills needed to carry out your assignment as well as team building will fill these first few days. Your team will fly to your final destination for the summer. Following your summer of ministry, you will return to the US for a joint debrief… sharing all God has done over the summer. Participants must commit to the entire program from orientation through the end of debrief.
Nehemiah Teams – An 8 week summer opportunity for students over the age of 18. Nehemiah Teams train prior to service in Alabama and return to Alabama at the end of the summer for debriefing.
