DESCRIPTION
Spend your summer skateboarding in a public skate park building relationships with young people and sharing the gospel. You will also disciple new believers. Live out of your bag, wash your clothes by hand, and sleep wherever a door is opened. Be a part of the next wave of Nehemiah Teams obeying the Great Commission. In partnership with IMB missionaries & national partners, you will become a part of Filipino culture, make friends through sports (skateboarding), and make disciples among unevangelized youth who don’t have the hope of eternal life. Your first stop will be a joint orientation with other Nehemiah Teams at the Nehemiah Teams Training Center in Mentone, Alabama. Learning the skills needed to carry out your assignment as well as team building will fill these first few days. Your team will fly to your final destination for the summer. Following your summer of ministry, you will return to the US for a joint debrief... sharing all God has done over the summer. Participants must commit to the entire program from orientation through debrief.
