DESCRIPTION

Multiple teams are needed in the South Pacific! Working alongside national Baptist believers, be a part of strengthening existing churches & new church starts across this vast region. Be a learner & a partner in what God is already doing in these beautiful islands. Approved students will be divided into ministry teams to go to Fiji & Guam. You will make life long friends with the friendly & hospitable people on these tropical islands. Use your interest in music, sports, and children & youth ministry to open doors to homes & hearts with the goal of sharing the Good News of Jesus Christ. Your first stop will be a joint orientation with other Nehemiah Teams at the Nehemiah Teams Training Center in Mentone, Alabama. Learning the skills needed to carry out your assignment as well as team building will fill these first few days. Your team will fly to your final destination for the summer. Following your summer of ministry, you will return to the US for a joint debrief... sharing all God has done over the summer. Participants must commit to the entire program from orientation through the end of debrief.
