DESCRIPTION

DISTRICT ONE: After arriving in the Capital, you will take a scenic train ride up to the beginning of your journey, in one of the world’s most beautiful historical sites. You will begin your time by spending a week immersed in language study which you will use as a springboard to get out in the community visiting tourist sites and prayer walking. DISTRICT TWO: After an eight-hour van ride, you’ll arrive in the high elevation coffee growing area. Put your newly acquired language skills into practice for one week by getting involved in a local café, visiting coffee farms and prayer walking in strategic areas. In addition to prayer walking and visiting coffee villages you will have the opportunity to lead a workshop or game night with local young people. DISTRICT THREE: After a thirty-minute plane ride back to the capital, you will spend time visiting some historical and cultural sites. You will also get involved in helping prayer walk some strategic focus areas of the capital city. DISTRICT FOUR: Next, come to another small city to teach English at a private school, owned and operated by Christians, nestled along a river where long boat rides are available. Have you ever tried prayer boating? You will have the chance to teach students English as a Second Language and interact with young believers who are just waiting to be discipled. You will also help to pray strategically for the opening of inroads into new areas ripe and ready for a gospel harvest. If the timing works well, substituting? or assisting with English conversation clubs, and classes will be an important way to engage locals.
