DESCRIPTION

Do you love hiking, basketball, pickleball, etc? Anything you love can be used to build lasting relationships with local Central Asian students. We are looking for outgoing and motivated individuals to join our team. In this role, you will work closely with our long-term personnel and assist in conversation groups at our local cultural center as well as utilize your own interests to engage our people with the gospel. Please come and see how the Lord will use you to move the work forward here in Central Asia!

Other Requirements

  • Residency - An opportunity to serve on mission for one or two semesters while being mentored by an IMB field missionary. Active members of Southern Baptist churches receive a subsidy, which includes travel to/from Orientation/Debrief at ILC, room and board at Orientation/Debrief, travel to/from the field and emergency insurance. There is no subsidy for applicants who are not members of a Southern Baptist Church. All monies raised or donated in excess of the stated cost of this particular Residency trip will be used to offset the additional, subsidized field cost expenditure for the student. These monies may also be used to supplement the broader cost of ministry related to the Residency program, in general.
