DESCRIPTION

One great city with so many opportunities! Connect with university students for coffee, outreach events, evangelism, and discipleship; participate in a Hungarian church and an International Church; and find creative ways to meet new people and share the Gospel through your hobbies and interests. You will experience a broad range of ministry activities that require flexibility, creativity, and being an initiator. Find out what life is really like on the mission field! You will join the local IMB team, be mentored and work alongside missionaries and nationals. Find your opportunity to join God where he is at work in Budapest, and did we mention coffee?

Other Requirements

  • Residency - An opportunity to serve on mission for one or two semesters while being mentored by an IMB field missionary. Active members of Southern Baptist churches receive a subsidy, which includes travel to/from Orientation/Debrief at ILC, room and board at Orientation/Debrief, travel to/from the field and emergency insurance. There is no subsidy for applicants who are not members of a Southern Baptist Church. All monies raised or donated in excess of the stated cost of this particular Residency trip will be used to offset the additional, subsidized field cost expenditure for the student. These monies may also be used to supplement the broader cost of ministry related to the Residency program, in general.
