DESCRIPTION

If you have an interest and gifting with social media and technology, then consider using your talents for a semester in Central Asia. Help reach the nations through digital engagement and help one of our local businesses continue to steward their platform well! You can expect your semester to consist of revamping the local business’ Instagram and Facebook pages, taking pictures for the agency’s social media page, and creating reels. Also, using those same skills to help our digital engagement ministry; working with the ministry’s Instagram page, scheduling posts on other social media, creating images for resources, etc. We are excited to partner with you to reach the lost of Central Asia through the ever-growing world-wide web!

Other Requirements

  • Residency - An opportunity to serve on mission for one or two semesters while being mentored by an IMB field missionary. Active members of Southern Baptist churches receive a subsidy, which includes travel to/from Orientation/Debrief at ILC, room and board at Orientation/Debrief, travel to/from the field and emergency insurance. There is no subsidy for applicants who are not members of a Southern Baptist Church. All monies raised or donated in excess of the stated cost of this particular Residency trip will be used to offset the additional, subsidized field cost expenditure for the student. These monies may also be used to supplement the broader cost of ministry related to the Residency program, in general.
